Developing a Fiscally Accountable Nonprofit Board (Getting right with the numbers, the business of your mission) Presented by Kelly Mathews, New York Council of Nonprofits, Inc.

Developing a Fiscally Accountable Nonprofit Board will emphasize how a board can efficiently organize itself to make sound fiscal decisions and be accountable to donors, funding courses, constituencies and regulating bodies.

 

What will be covered:

· Board fiduciary responsibilities

· Board, committee and staff roles in financial oversight

· Key elements of a financial report

· Budget development, methods and tips

· Investment policy and management
